Legendary French design house Yves Saint Laurent is set for a name change. New creative director Hedi Slimane is in charge of brand re-positioning and his initial priority is towards a name change.

The iconic brand has confirmed that Yves Saint Laurent will drop the ‘Yves’ from their name. The idea behind is to make the label meet a younger segment.  The house will be rebranded Saint Laurent Paris, although the iconic YSL logo will remain the same. We will see whether getting used to it will be hard or not.
