Rihanna to design?

R&B queen Rihanna is not only the leading artist at the moment, but she is also very highly anticipated new blood for fashion industry. Rihanna is turning her hand into design and this time not for an already existing fashion legend.  Given she created a commercially successful capsule collection for Armani last year, she is seen to be ready to spread her fashion wings away for her own label.

Rihanna admitted how excited she is to dive into  her new career along with her singing and acting career.

“I’m really pursuing a fashion line of my own,” she told Ryan Seacrest. “I want to design. This is also a road that I want to earn it. So I’m working with designers. Designers that I respect, and companies that I respect. I want people to really trust me before I just say ‘Buy it, because it’s mine.'”

Knowing that she is one of the ladies who (almost always ) rocks the red carpet and one of the leading artists who has the millions of fans worldwide, there is no doubt that her own brand could achieve a huge commercial success.
