One of the iconic looks of the entire fashion industry was revealed as fake! The ‘Chanel’ suit worn by  Jacqueline Kennedy on the day when President Kennedy was assassinated was a fake. The suit consisting of the bright pink, bouclé skirt and jacket along with a pillbox hat was always assumed to be Chanek. However it is not the reality at all. Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld pointed out that the suit was created by American dressmaker Oleg Cassini.

Lagerfeld clarified the issue stating out: ”In 1963,It was a fake, a line-by-line copy by Cassini. She did have real Chanels, her sister ordered them. We have all the proof.” Ain’t it ironic to see celebrities wearing line-by-line copies of international brands? Just wondering who else can do these kind of tricks to be assumed as stylish and up-to date?

Karl Lagerfeld tarafından gün ışığına çıkan gerçek, kim bilir daha gördüğümüz hangi elbiseler orijinalinin sahtesi acaba dedirtmekte gecikmedi.
