Alber Elbaz has just created an enormous Lanvin Christmas tree for Claridge’s. ”The concept of the Christmas Tree decoration is to create an installation that carries the spirit of Lanvin, an infusion of tradition and modernity at the same time,”  a spokespersson said. “The tree is to emanate and bring heartwarming joy to all who work and stay as guests at Claridge’s hotel: It’s my way to wish them a very Merry Christmas.”

Lanvin, Londra’ nın en prestijli hotellerinden Claridge’s için devasa bir noel ağacı tasarladı. 2009 ve 2010 yıllarına girerken John Galliano tarafından hazırlanan noel ağacı geleneği, 2012 ye girerken de bozulmadı ancak rota değiştirdi. Ünlü Fransız moda evi Lanvin adına baş tasarımcı Alber Elbaz tarafından tasarlanan noel ağacı; modern bir dokunuşla şekillendirilmiş geleneksel noel ruhunu betimliyor.

British fashion legend Alexander McQueen has an immortal significance in fashion world. Now the label is ready to go to the next level. Alexander McQueen’s diffusion line McQ is set to be launched for the very first time during the London Fashion Week in February 2012.

The fall/ winter 2012-13 collection will channel an effortless beauty by covering the menswear, womenswear alongside accessories. The runway show is going to be followed by the label’s debut store opening that will be unveiled next spring.

Can’t wait to see how McQueen demonstrates the mainstream!

If you see any ultra chic truck driver; get a picture and call the police! Because Marc Jacobs’ latest collection was just stolen during the shipping. Last week, reward announcement was made via the label’s twitter account. Given that the spring/summer collection was stolen; Marc Jacobs is offering a reward for anyone who finds the label’s missing collection that was stolen in London last week.

A spokesperson pointed out that the stolen pieces have only been the select duplicates rather than an entire collection; so the majority of the original collection is safe in New York.

The pieces were stolen whilst in the care of a courier as they were being transferred from Paris to London. The company released a statement yesterday to apologise for the cancellation of the press event, moreover the theft is being investigated by the police in London at the moment.

We all hope that thief (s) will be caught up soon!

Durumu kontrol altına almak isteyen yetkililer ki en başta Marc Jacobs; kayıp parçalarını bulan ya da şüpheliler hakkında suç duyurusunda bulunacakların ödüllendirileceğini belirtti.

Geçtiğimiz hafta Londra’ da gerçekleşmesi beklenen basın toplantısı ve özel gösterim için; Paris’ ten Londra’ ya nakledilen koleksiyon; taşınma sırasında çalındı. Yapılan ilk incelemede tüm koleksiyonun gittiğini düşünen yetkililerden sevindirici bir açıklama geldi. Çalınan parçalar ana versiyonları New York’ da kilit altında tutulan orjinal koleksiyonun birebir kopyası olduğu açıklandı.

Yani gemi nakliyesi sırasında çalınan parçaların tüm orjinal versiyonları ve çizimleri New York’ da. Yine de sonuç neden ne olursa olsun çalınan parçaların en kısa sürede bulunmasını ve suçluların cezalandırılmasını dilemekteyiz.
